Students of PYP 1 and PYP 2 celebrated Onam in style. Starting with Ms. Uma Varma’s exciting storytelling session about the kind and generous king Mahabali, the students created a pookalam out of colour paper which they had used for learning different types of cutting. Different objects associated with Kerala and Onam were displayed in order to understand their significance. Students sang Onappaattukal, had a mock Vallamkali and even learnt a few Thiruvathira steps. They also helped in making a payasam which was their favourite item from the Sadya.
