Group 4 Project
The Group 4 Project was a vibrant display of scientific collaboration and real-world problem-solving.
Team 1 conducted a comprehensive analysis of water quality from different sources, testing for parameters such as pH, turbidity, and presence of contaminants. Their findings raised critical questions about environmental safety and public health.
Meanwhile, Team 2 impressed the audience with a live demonstration of a DIY air quality monitoring system built using sensors and an Arduino board. They collected and interpreted real-time data on particulate matter and pollutants in the local environment, offering practical insights into air pollution.
This experience wasn’t just about science in isolation—it was about connecting Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science to address challenges that truly matter. The Group 4 Project encouraged inquiry, teamwork, and innovation—key IB learner traits—and left everyone inspired by the power of interdisciplinary learning.
