IB Diploma Subjects

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) is an assessed programme for students aged 16 to 19. It is respected by leading universities across the globe.

The IB Diploma Programme develops students who:

have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge

flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically

study at least two languages

excel in traditional academic subjects

explore the nature of knowledge through the programme’s unique theory of knowledge course.

All IB Diploma students undertake 6 courses of study. Each student selects one course each from Group 1 to 5 and a sixth course from either Group 6 or an additional course from Group 3 or 4.

This provides IB Diploma students with abroad and balanced programme that meets the needs of university entrance around the world.
